We now offer state certified apprenticeship for Precision Finish Grinding. Tegra Medical is certified by the Massachusetts Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) for Toolmaker, Swiss Machining, and Precision Finish Grinding in our Franklin and Dartmouth, MA locations.
“Tegra Medical provides our apprentices with a fantastic opportunity. Apprentices can choose their path and become a skilled Toolmaker, Swiss Machinist, or Precision Grinding operator, they can also advance to a supervisory or management position with us,” said Anabela Watson, Senior Human Resources Manager.
Anabela added, “Not only do they develop new skills, but they get a solid education as well. Our apprentices work towards an Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree and Tegra Medical pays their tuition. Our apprentices get hands on experience and an education free of student loan debt, all while being paid weekly. Tegra Medical gets a skilled, educated employee that can move up the ranks. It’s a win-win for both the apprentice and the company.”
