Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Walter joined Tegra Medical in 2009 as Business Development Manager in the Western U.S. and held several senior management positions until his 2020 promotion to VP, Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Tegra Medical, Walter spent 15 years with Accellent, a provider of manufacturing services to the medical device industry, in various technical sales and sales management roles, including Director of Business Development. He was the Manager of Technical Sales and Marketing for American Technical Molding, a medical molder acquired by Accellent. Walter also worked for Nova Chemicals as Western Region Account Manager, helping to develop applications for new medical-grade plastic alloys. Walter began his career with American McGaw in Irvine, CA (now B. Braun) as a staff engineer and injection molding supervisor. Walter attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he earned and M.S degree in Plastics Engineering and B.S and M.S degrees in Biological Sciences.
Vice President, GENESIS Tech Center
Mike has over 25 years of medical device manufacturing experience. He joined Accumet Laser Inc. in 2001 as the Operations Manager. When the company merged with NEPG and AMI to form Tegra Medical he became the Director of the GENESIS Tech Center. Prior to Accumet Laser, Mike spent two years as the Business Development Manager for Tecomet, Inc. At Microgroup Inc. he served in various engineering and managing roles over twelve years, including Operations Manager. Mike attended the College of William & Mary and has a BS in Biology.
Chief Financial Officer
Craig joined Tegra Medical in 2015 with nearly 25 years of experience in the finance and accounting discipline, including medical devices. Most recently Craig served clients in a consulting role and immediately prior he was with Accellent (now Lake Region Medical), in a leadership role as their Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. Craig began his career in public accounting roles at both KPMG LLP and Ernst & Young LLP. Craig is a Certified Public Accountant and received his degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Franklin General Manager
Hal joined Tegra Medical in 2006 as a Manufacturing Engineer and was promoted to the role of Manufacturing Engineering Director in 2011 and General Manager, Franklin in 2019. Hal previously worked at Cybex International and Waters Corporation in roles including lean manufacturing cell leader, production engineering technician and CNC machinist. A Six Sigma Black Belt, Hal graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he earned a BS degree in Mechanical Design Technology.
Hernando General Manager
Randy joined Tegra Medical in 2017. Before joining the company, his positions included Director of Operations at Flexial Corporation, Vice President, Operations at Micro Machine Company, Assistant Vice President of Operations at Burr Oak Tool, Sales and Engineering at Micropulse, and Business Unit Leader at Paragon Medical. He graduated Cum Laude for both his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Dartmouth General Manager
Kevin joined Tegra Medical in 2010. Kevin has over 25 years of operational management experience in various industries. Prior to joining Tegra Medical, Kevin spent eight years with General Cable, a Fortune 500 company that manufactures fiber optic and copper communications cable, in roles ranging from Operations Manager, Lean Six Sigma Manager and Plant Manager. Kevin began his career as an Operations Manager and Plant Manager with Invensys Controls, which was then acquired by Honeywell. Kevin is a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma, as well as a certified Lean Manufacturing Sensei. Kevin holds a BS in Operations Management and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Costa Rica General Manager
Sean started at Tegra Medical in 2009. He has over 25 years of precision manufacturing experience in areas including automotive, aerospace, consumer products and medical. Before Tegra Medical he worked at Penn United Technologies in machine tool building and international sales. He then launched and managed Penn United’s first operations in Costa Rica. His prior employers include Precision Concepts Costa Rica, Dyna-Craft Industries and Oberg Manufacturing. Sean studied engineering at University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University. Sean is fluent in Spanish, having studied at Central Cultural Costa Rica.
