Tegra Medical’s Dartmouth facility recently hosted 78 students from New Bedford’s Invest-in-Kids KoolDays program.
The program aims to reinforce math and science skills in elementary- and middle-school students and introduce them to the types of industries that exist in and around New Bedford, MA. Businesses in the areas of technology, engineering and manufacturing are of special interest.
The students, who are in grades 4-8, visited Tegra Medical in July, where they toured the facility and listened to Matt Nielson, Director of Engineering, Will Lally, Molding Business Unit Manager and Kevin Carroll, General Manager talk about their work and the job skills needed in the field.
