Each year, the New Bedford Massachusetts Area Chamber of Commerce presents awards to local businesses that have made a difference within the community while making a positive impact on the local economy. Tegra Medical’s Dartmouth, MA facility is located in this region of Massachusetts and was recognized as a runner-up in the award’s large business category. Each nominated company is rated on five criteria: number of employees, staying power, growth, social responsibility and innovation.
Our community outreach in the New Bedford area includes inviting children from New Bedford’s Invest in Kids program and members of the local Veterans Transition House to tour the facility and learn about careers advanced manufacturing. Last November the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce bestowed an educational leadership award on Tegra Medical.
