It’s a mindset that will deliver value to our stakeholders as we infuse the holistic ESG criteria (environmental, social, governance) into all the work we do.
Environmental Stewardship
We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and adopting innovative practices to conserve resources and reduce carbon emissions. At our Dartmouth, MA facility, we have taken significant steps by installing a 428 kW DC rooftop solar system, which will reduce the site’s CO2 footprint by 30% and eliminate an estimated 102 metric tons of carbon emissions annually—the equivalent of planting more than 3,100 trees each year. Looking ahead, we are expanding our renewable energy efforts with plans for a solar carport canopy in Dartmouth, additional solar panels at our Franklin, MA facility, and photovoltaic rooftop systems in Costa Rica.
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond energy efficiency. Through our “local-for-local” strategy, we strategically positioned our Heredia, Costa Rica facility near OEM customers with operations in the region. This approach not only reduces shipping costs but also significantly reduces CO2 emissions associated with transportation. Operating in Costa Rica, renowned for its commitment to environmental sustainability, further reinforces our efforts to align with global environmental priorities.
Additionally, we prioritize environmental responsibility by implementing sustainable practices throughout our manufacturing processes. From energy-efficient equipment to waste reduction strategies, we continuously strive to minimize our impact on the environment. Our commitment to environmental stewardship extends to our supply chain, where we partner with suppliers who share our values and uphold rigorous environmental standards.
Efficient use of resources is key to our sustainability efforts. We optimize resource utilization by adopting lean manufacturing principles and investing in advanced technologies that maximize efficiency and reduce defects and waste. By minimizing waste and conserving resources, we not only reduce our environmental footprint but also drive cost savings for our clients.
Social Responsibility
