Tegra Medical received an education leadership award at a ceremony November 11 with the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce.
Since the Dartmouth facility joined its local chamber of commerce earlier in 2016, it has proven Tegra Medical’s passion for education. In partnership with the Greater New Bedford Connecting Activities Program, comprised of Bristol Community College, the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater New Bedford Workforce Investment Board, Tegra Medical has offered and continues to offer valuable work and learning opportunities for local area youth. The company provided a paid summer internship and is currently hosting two paid interns from Dartmouth High School. These aspiring engineers are gaining invaluable experience through both observations and hands-on learning in Tegra Medical’s state-of-the-art facility.
