Tegra Medical’s state-of-the-art facilities are equipped for high-quality, efficient, and rapid manufacturing to support a wide range of medical devices.

Tegra Medical consolidated its Holliston, MA (formerly NEPG) and Cranston, RI (formerly Accu-Met Laser) facilities into a newly renovated facility for medical device manufacturing in Franklin, MA in February 2009. Situated just off I-495, Franklin is located on a major medical device corridor easily accessible from Boston, Providence and Worcester.

Complementary operations continue in our modern Dartmouth facility (formerly American Medical Instruments), just 50 miles Southeast of Franklin and a short drive from Boston or Providence.

In December 2009, CTW Inc., based in Hernando, Mississippi was acquired and operates out of a new facility 20 miles south of Memphis, TN, a hub for orthopaedic manufacturing and product distribution.

In June 2010, Tegra acquired a manufacturing operation near San Jose, Costa Rica from Penn United. Tegra chose Costa Rica for its stable political and economic environment, well educated work force and attractive cost model. The medical device industry is growing rapidly in Costa Rica, employing more than 9,000 people. With easy access from several U.S. airports, it is becoming the low cost country of choice for many medical device manufacturers.
