As we are all continuing to navigate the uncertainty of doing business during the COVID-19 pandemic I wanted to provide an update to my earlier letters and remind you of the commitment we have manufacturing your critical products.
Our three U.S. locations and our Costa Rica location are operating while following all appropriate local and federal guidelines for employee safety, cleanliness, and social distancing. While many other local businesses have been ordered to close, Tegra Medical is considered an essential business and remains open. We are proud of our dedicated employees who come into work each day to make your products while doing everything possible to keep themselves and their coworkers safe.
As you are likely finding at your own company, doing business during this time is like hitting a moving target. When employees have been exposed or test positive, CDC guidelines require that they stay home for a determined period of time. That will inevitably cause the average number of hours worked to vary from day to day and week to week. At Tegra Medical, this is a situation that we’re monitoring closely in our daily management team meetings. You can be assured that we will contact you directly if a situation arises that will affect the products we are working on for you.
