Tegra Medical Awarded Certificate of Compliance for Class 8 Clean Room

FRANKLIN, MA--Tegra Medical has completed the construction of a new Class 8 (100,000) controlled manufacturing environment at its Franklin operation. The room was tested on June 30 and certified to comply with all requirements of I.S.O. 14644-1. The Certificate of Compliance expires on June 30, 2010. “We’re pleased to be able to offer our customers this added capability” stated Tom Burns, V.P. Business Development. “Medical device OEMs are looking for complete outsourcing solutions so the clean room complements our current assembly offering and will allow Tegra to offer complete, packaged products ready for sterilization.”
